I enjoy pool deck parties and waterslides and joining a trivia challenge, but I also really appreciate taking time out to simply enjoy an ocean view for a few quiet hours on my own. Anyone can take advantage of this and no reservations are required. While inside rooms start at just 185 square feet — compared to ocean view cabins that start at 230 square feet — I thought it was comfortable. Even when I've shared an inside room on past sailings, the size never bothered me since I spend most of my cruising time outside on the decks and only use my cabin to sleep. Carnival Panorama's Porthole staterooms give you the classic seafarer's view times two - a pair of round windows providing an affordable view of the ocean. If you tire of ocean-gazing, there's plenty more to do onboard, but 24-hour room service is one amenity you can enjoy as you continue to take in the view.

The Deck 5 "Lanai" provides shaded outdoor seating for the restaurants, but also a nice place to sit and relax in the daytime. The Serenity Deck, on Deck 15, is only open to adults 21 and older.
